How Date Difference Is Calculated
Total days is the absolute number of calendar days between the two dates, inclusive of the start but not the end (like a date range).
Business days counts only Monday through Friday, skipping weekends. Public holidays are not excluded.
Months and years are approximations: months = days / 30.4375, years = days / 365.25.
